Classical Connections Contest and Schedule

Rose Fragoza

My career with Radio Kansas began in August of 1991. Classical Music was not something I listened to much but it is amazing how much I enjoy it now.  I couldn’t imagine it not being around.  I am thankful for all I have learned and continue to learn while working at such a wonderful place.  One of my favorite things is visiting with our members when they stop by or call in and also at the festivals we attend.  It is amazing the many friendships I have developed.

I was born and raised in Brighton, Colorado. I graduated from Brighton High School in 1969.  I'm married and have two children and four grandchildren.  My daughter, who is a Registered Nurse at Hutchinson Hospital, works nights in supervision.  I help her out a lot by taking care of my three grandchildren when she is working.  I spend a lot of evenings running my grandchildren to and from functions they want or need to attend.  My son is in his 16th year as a United States Marine.  He has one daughter and lives in California.  Because of the distance, I don’t get to spend much time with her.

In my spare time I enjoy going to garage sales, baking, cooking, shopping and visiting with my family in Colorado.
