Tune in Monday through Saturday nights for Nightcrossings, a program of instrumental music with a reflective feel. The playlist features original compositions by classically trained musicians. Enya, Paul Winter and Mannheim Steamroller are just a sample of the artists you'll hear. Nightcrossings provides the perfect atmosphere for creating, relaxing, or just dreaming. Listen once - and you'll wonder how you ever got by without it.
Tune in to Nightcrossings with Maggie Perry from 9 to midnight Monday-Thursday and join Geralyn Smith weekends from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Be sure to listen for our live performance series, Nightcrossings JAM! Segments air in special features during select Nightcrossings broadcasts. JAM! offers live recordings of area and in-studio performances. You’ll hear some of the featured artists' favorite selections and in-depth interviews led by program Producer Michael Ables. Stay tuned to Radio Kansas for information on the next performance in the series. View JAM! photos and artist information.
This special segment of Nightcrossings airs on Wednesday nights at 10:00 and features new instrumental music from artists moonlighting from other genres. Hear artists like The Alan Parson's Project, The Eagles and Journey's Jonathan Cain.
On Sundays from 9 to midnight we offer Music from the Hearts of Space, hosted by Stephen Hill. The national broadcast is frequently offered on public stations in an hour-long segment, but Radio Kansas dedicates an entire evening to the show. Listeners enjoy the contemplative, space-creating sound.
Submitting new music:Nightcrossings has been on the air for well over 20 years, so we are blessed with a CD library of thousands of CDs and many more arrive every week. We are thankful for the thoughtfulness of each artist who submits a CD for airplay, but we simply do not have the staff time for tracking calls or review feedback. If our online playlists are a sufficient way for you to track airplay, please feel free to submit your music!
