Randy Robinson

Kansas has been my home all my life. I have to admit-I'm a certifiable Jayhawker. At the station, I serve as a senior account manager. My job consists of contacting businesses in our listening area and developing corporate sponsors. As a result of this, my job takes me on the road a lot. I like it because I am not behind a desk. I also enjoy visiting with people about the value of public radio.

My formal education consists of a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism from The University of Kansas in 1977 and 1980. I have worked in the development department at Radio Kansas since September 1994.

One of my personal interests is music. I enjoy a wide variety of music especially jazz and jazz fusion. I started listening to Radio Kansas in 1990 and liked classical music and Nightcrossings. It's difficult to imagine life without music.

I am married to a registered nurse and have two daughters, ages 22 and 18.

My main hobbies are reading and recreational sports. I especially enjoy swimming, walking, golf, and tennis.
