Underwriting is a means for businesses, organizations and individuals to support Radio Kansas while connecting with hundreds of Radio Kansas listeners. In exchange for this support, the underwriter receives on-air acknowledgement, which may describe and identify the contributing business, organization or individual.

Possibly underwriting can be explained better in the words of a couple of Radio Kansas underwriters.
